The conspicuous absence of Mr Peter Obi at the burial rites of former President Muhammadu Buhari had generated a lots of comments debates, which they said might affect his pursuit of Nigeria Presidency.
According to the President of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, Comrade Yerima Shettima, Mr Peter Obi has not broken the ethnic cord that tied him with their tribal unbelieve in Nigeria nation. Alhaji Yerima said right from the start of Obi's campaign, his statements, actions and press releases are ethnically based.
The Arewa said the absence of the Presidential aspirant at the burial of the former President Muhammadu Buhari is stemmed out of the fear of what Nnamdi Kanu and his Biafran people would say judging by their deep rooted hatred for the Northern people.
He therefore said, unless Mr Peter Obi removed his robe of ethnicity, he should not evpect any vote from the Northern Nigeria, as it would be hypocritical for him to expect vote from the group of people he had vowed not to love.
